We believe a general contractor’s job is about more than just getting the work done. A contractor is a partner. One who is responsive, approachable, personable and patient. We’re here to make sure you understand the process and scope. And of course, to build beautiful things.

We have our own crew and self perform the majority of the work on our projects ourselves. On projects where we think it's better to use others to perform certain types of work, we rely on strong, longstanding relationships with trusted subcontractors to help us out.

Dave Libby

Dave Libby has been building since 1986. He has worked on hundreds of commercial and residential projects as a carpenter, cabinet maker and general superintendent. He is LEED GA certified and received a certificate in construction management from Berkeley in 2012. He is a co-founder and managing partner of Assembly Builders . 

Mario Romero

Mario Romero is a union trained carpenter who has been working on residential and commercial projects in the Bay Area since 2004. He is our field superintendent and a founding partner of Assembly Builders
